Getting drunk can depend on the glass and not what's in it

We all know that if we want to get drunk we have to star drinking alcohol like stupid, we know many "methods" to avoid getting drunk so easily, and we also know ways of avoiding a terrible headache. But, can you believe that the shape of the glass that you are using will determine how fast you drink and obviously, how fast you get drunk?

A research conducted by the University of Bristol, concluded that you drink more than 30 percent slower when drinking in a straight glass.

One of the hypothesis that the researchers came up with is, that when you are drinking alcohol, is important how much you have drunk, and how much there is left to be drunk. With this in mind and taking into consideration the fact that with curved glasses people do not realize accurately how much they have drunk, the researchers stated that if you do not want to get "wasted" too fast, you should drink in a straight glass.

According to this extremely importat discovery, if you take a look back at your recent parties, do you remember if when you got drunk you were drinking in a curved glass?
The possibility of you remembering that is close to cero, but in the future, you can pay a little attention to that detail and maybe prevent a hangover by not getting drunk.

Anyway, after reading this, would you consider this discovery as something true? or you drink as fast as you can no matter which glass or recipient are you drinking from?
